Jonathan Bruner is a junior at New Smyrna Beach HS. He was a state qualifier last season but was not able to make the podium. I am told Bruner is busting his tail to make sure he finds himself on one of the podium spots this year at the state championships. He went to the Grandy School of Wrestling Camp where he was named the standing granby champion. He placed 2nd this summer st the Spartan Nationals in Tampa and he although he had never wrestled Freestyle before, he entered The father Divine tourney and placed 2nd!!
They tell me Jonathan Bruner is a very hard worker and hopefully the camps and tournaments he took part of over the summer has helped him get to the next level. I am very anxious to watch him this season and see how all of his hard work has paid off.
